ICC 50th Jubilee Celebration

Agenda and Schedule of Events

Parishoners are invited to participate in the events commemorating the 50th anniversary of Immaculate Conception Church, dedicated on December 8, 1972.

Your donations will help offset the costs for this important celebration of our parish. Thank you for your generosity.

Sunday, September 11, 2022 – ICC Parish Picnic and 50th Jubilee Festival

This kicks off the 50th Jubilee by commemorating the day of September 6, 1972, when John O’Neill purchased St. George’s Catholic Church from the Idaho Department of Highways and began planning to move it to a suitable location. In October, he purchased the land where the current church stands. In November, Harlie Catlow of House Moving Specialists transferred the church, and on December 8, 1972 Fr. Edward DeBusschere dedicated it as Immaculate Conception Church.

Immediately following the noon Mass, come join us for an afternoon of festivities, games, and food, to celebrate this milestone of our church! Please sign up to bring a side dish and form a team to join in the games. The sign-up sheets for food are in the vestibule. There will also be a golf ball drop where you can win $500 by purchasing a golf ball for $10 each. We hope to see you there! Volunteers Needed: Women and Teenage girls, to help supervise the Junior Girls’ and Adult Women’s Games. There will be an orientation prior to the event. Please email [email protected] to sign up.
